NZ need 156 off 20 overs to win Chappell-Hadlee trophy

New Zealand's target though was further revised to 156 off 20 overs as rain threatened tou00a0play spoilsport again.

Australia will retain the trophy if the series finishes at the current 2-2 in a case rain does not permit play. Michael Clarke was missing from the Australian line-up due to a back problem. However, both Hadden and Fergusonu00a0didn't let his absence show in any way as the duo finished on unbeaten marks of 88 and 55 respectively as they took the visitors' bowling attack to the cleaners.

Brendon Diamanti, the debutant all-rounder, went for a massive 12.5 runs off the two overs her bowled.
