New Delhi: Rajkot, Vizag, Pune, Dharamsala, Ranchi and Indore will host Test matches for the first time in the forthcoming season where India will play 13 Tests, as per a BCCI media release.

The Tour Programme and Fixtures Committee of the BCCI met in Mumbai on Thursday to finalise the schedules for the 2016-17 season.

India's domestic season kicks off in September with the Duleep Trophy to be played with a pink ball under floodlights.
Mumbai will host the third India vs England Test. The BCCI insist on seat numbers for the public at all venues.
New Zealand, Australia and Bangladesh will tour India this season along with England who will play five Tests.
