Former India captain Anil Kumble will not be holding a clinic for spinners in South Africa as reported widely
yesterday.
"It's not that I'll be offering tips at a clinic. I've been invited to speak at the Annual Conference of Cricket South Africa (CSA), on Thursday evening, and will probably interact with the spinners that morning," Kumble, told The Telegraph.
"I'll start the journey back the very next morning and so there's no question of holding a clinic."The request to spend some time with the spinners came from Gerald Majola (Cricket South Africa's chief executive) and I agreed," he added. Kumble is third most successful bowler in Tests with 619 victims.
