Noffke, 32, who played two Twenty20 internationals and an ODI for Australia in 2007-08, will move to WA on a two-year deal once his current English county commitments with Worcestershire are completed, the Western Australian Cricket Association said.
"Ashley has twice been awarded Queensland Cricket's highest individual honour, the Ian Healy Trophy, has been on two Test tours with the Australian team and represented his country in limited-overs cricket," WACA chief executive Graeme Wood said.
Noffke has played 71 Sheffield Shield games for Queensland since making his debut in the 2000-01 season and has taken 252 wickets at an average of 27.28.
In the 2007-08 season, Noffke became only the third player in the history of the Sheffield Shield to capture 50 wickets and score 500 runs in a season.
