“There is some bounce in the wicket and it has started turning more in the second innings. We are confident that everything will fall in place. When it is turning, it’s a bonus for you. It is important to let the batsmen make mistakes. We have two more days to go and are confident with the way the guys are bowling and how everyone is approaching the game,” said the left-arm spinner.

However, New Zealand are still hoping to save the match afteru00a0following on.

“It’s a good opportunity for us to save the match. It’s a pretty simple formula: Just occupy the crease, but I do not want to say this is a defensive attitude. We have to stick to that. Following my stint with Mumbai Indians, I know how to play against spinners,” said Franklin.
