Brad Hodge showed just why he is so sought after in T20 cricket after blasting his way to a 23-ball 46 which included six fours and two sixes to help Rajasthan Royals post a formidable 183 for five against South African team Highveld Lions in their second Group A league match of the Champions League T20 here yesterday.
Lions struggled to keep up the chase after losing wickets at regular intervals. They eventually ended up scoring 153 for nine in 20 overs as Rajasthan Royals clinched the tie by 30 runs.
All-rounder Stuart Binny smashed 38 off only 20 balls while experienced Shane Watson (33) and skipper Rahul Dravid (31) also made useful contributions.
