Both players were reported after incidents in the June 24th T20 Blast match between their two teams, which Essex won by five wickets.
Former England international Bopara was dismissed lbw for a duck in Essex's chase of 136 and angrily indicated to umpire Neil Bainton that he had got his bat on the ball.
West Indian pacer Best then got frustrated during Ashar Zaidi's match-winning innings of 52 and, having bowled a wide, threw the ball at Zaidi giving away four overthrows.
