India opener Rohit Sharma revealed the reason for his quiet celebration despite having slammed a century in the fifth ODI against South Africa on Tuesday. Rohit, who was involved in two run outs, that of skipper Virat Kohli and middle-order batsman Ajinkya Rahane, said two batsmen before him were run out so the pressure had mounted on him to deliver and he just wanted to focus on how to carry the same momentum till the end.

"Two guys got run out before me so there was nothing to celebrate about. It depends on what kind of mood you are in. Two of our batsmen got run out, so I wanted to carry on and celebrating was not on my mind at all," Rohit said.
India clinched their maiden ODI series win on South African soil, taking an unbeatable 4-1 lead after outclassing the hosts by 73 runs.

"This is the biggest overseas victory (in ODIs). This is a good win because this was a bilateral series. Before this, we won the CB tri-series in Australia (2007-08). Even that series was quite tough," Rohit said, who starred with a 115-run knock.

"For me, it is difficult to compare the two. I think this series means a lot to us. The way we played from the first game, we have dominated the series, and the result is there for all to see," he added. Rohit also became the fourth highest century scorer in ODIs for India.
