"Sachin will be taken to Bowral (New South Wales) on Friday. He will meet the children of Bowral Public School where Bradman studied. Sachin is an absolute wonderful man and a role model for children around the world. This will be Sachin's first visit to Bowral," said David Wells, the curator of the Bradman Foundation.

"He will also be taken to the Bradman museum for which he donated one of his playing shirts that he used in 2003. All other displays will be shown to him. Sachin is scheduled to return to Mumbai on Saturday."
Meanwhile, former Australia captain Mark Taylor, who turned 50 on Monday, will interview Tendulkar at the 2014 Bradman gala dinner today. "We are all very excited to welcome him. On the night of the dinner, he will be presented with a citation confirming the Bradman Foundation's appreciation for the role that he has played."
In 1985, on being inducted into the Australian Sports Hall of Fame, Bradman said: "When considering the stature of an athlete, I place great store on certain qualities which I believe to be essential in addition to skill.
They are that a person conducts his or her life with dignity, with integrity, with courage and perhaps most of all modesty. These virtues are totally compatible with pride, ambition, determination and competitiveness."
Wells said, "Sachin has clearly met Sir Donald's objectives with distinction and continues to be an exemplar of everything that is good and admirable in the game of cricket."
