New Delhi: Former Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar is all set to promote the cause of road safety by joining 5,000 children in a pledge for commitment to safer roads in New Delhi on Sunday.

The initiative is the brainchild of Forbes billionaire Azad Moopen, a Dubai-based Doctor who is also a healthcare entrepreneur.
Tendulkar will take the pledge alongside 5000 children at a stadium here.
The 42-year-old, who bid adieu to international cricket in 2014, has been actively supporting social causes and is a United Nations Environment Programme Goodwill Ambassador.
