Sunderland were hit with a fine yesterday after being found guilty of a misconduct charge stemming from last month's stormy 3-3 draw with Manchester City.
The Black Cats were fined £30,000 (36,000 euros/48,000 dollars) after an angry reaction from their players towards referee Phil Dowd following his awarding of a 43rd-minute penalty.
