Pakistan's all-rounder Sohail Tanvir has been appointed the captain of its second string team that will take on Afghanistan in a ground-breaking one-day series to be held later this month.
Tanvir, who has been sidelined from Pakistan duty because of fitness problems and indifferent form, will lead a 15-man Pakistan A squad that includes a number of players who have either played or are knocking at the doors of international cricket.
