Set to score 141 in the stipulated 20 overs, Mumbai Indians scored 143 in 18.3 overs, with Tendulkar unbeaten on 55 and Ambati Rayadu not out 63.

In MI's opening encounter against the Delhi Daredevils recently Tendulkar had scored an unbeaten 46 as the side won by eight wickets.

Yesterday, however it was one-drop batsman Rayudu, who batted aggressively even as Tendulkar played a classy knock following the dismissal of opener David Jacobs (22 off 16 balls with two fours and two sixes), who gave MI the perfect quickfire start they needed.

Rayudu began cautiously before exploding towards the end of his innings. Rayudu finished with nine fours ufffd two more than his senior partner Tendulkar.

The youngster even beat Tendulkar to his half-century in style when he lofted Asad Pathan for a boundary over extra cover.

Earlier, RCBu00a0 were able to score a modest 140 in 20 overs for the loss of four wickets after Tendulkar won the toss and elected to field.

For RCB, Tillakaratne Dilshan and AB de Villiers added 91 runs runs for the second wicket enabling the hosts to set a modest target of 141.

Dilshanu00a0 with 59 not out (four fours and two sixes) carried his bat through while De Villiers made a useful contribution with his 36-ball 38 (three fours and a six).

Sri Lankan speedster Lasith Malinga and West Indies' Kieron Pollard were the pick of the MI bowlers with two wickets each.
