Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez wants to show Manchester City his worth as he begun the first stage of his rehabilitation with the Premier League leaders.
The Argentine striker met with club doctors and underwent a series of exercises to ascertain what shape he is in during a 75-minute stay at Manchester City's Carrington training ground. There was every signal last night that he is prepared do whatever it takes in order to play a part in the run-in.

"From a football point of view Carlos can only be an asset. Clearly he has a lot of repairs to do with the fans. He is ready to apologize," the Telegraph quoted Tevez's adviser, Kia Joorabchian, as saying.
Tevez will look to persuade Mancini that not only he is physically fit to play for City, but also convince him that the psychological damage of their strained relationship could be repaired.
He has not played for the club since September, having been out of favor since being accused of refusing to warm up in the Champions League defeat at Bayern Munich on Sept 27.
