Recently, Hardik Pandya had a back surgery which he is recovering from. It has put him out of action from the ongoing India vs South Africa Test series.

Pandya first caught the eye of the selectors with his scintillating hitting in IPL. He was more than handy with the ball as well. He made his T20I debut against Australia on January 26,2016. He didn't have an opportunity to bat and was hammered by the Aussie batsman. However, it didn't take him long to replicate his IPL performances in the international arena as well. He was the answer to India's never ending search for a seam-bowling all-rounder.
