Spain and Barcelona hit-man David Villa has backed his international strike partner Fernando Torres to be a hit at Chelsea after his ufffd50 million move from Liverpool on transfer deadline day.
Torres had a debut to forget against his former club on Sunday as he was substituted before watching his new team crumble to a home defeat after Raul Meireles' goal, but Villa believes his compatriot has made the right decision.
Villa told the PA: "Liverpool are not enjoying a good year. I am totally convinced that his move to Chelsea will go well and he will succeed in London."
