Royal Challengers Bangalore opener Chris Gayle was a hot topic of discussion on Twitter after he slammed 175 runs off 66 balls against Pune Warriors.

As the Royal Challengers Bangalore opener smashed his way into the record books, tweeters were lavishing praise on him.


Rajasthan Royals co-owner Shilpa Shetty tweeted, "Unbelievable inning by Gayle! ThankGod we r not at the receiving end!!ha ha ha;) Incredible..he makes it all look so easy!"

Mumbai Indians off-spinner u00a0Harbhajan Singh posted, "Gayle gayle gayle all the way. Never seen something like this.jamiacan style maaaan.gayle rule.wow this is insane.yaaa maaan."

Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni said on Twitter, "Life is all about taking the right decision,seeing Gayle bat today I think I took the right decision of being a wicket keeper."

Fellow Jamaican and master runner Usain Bolt too hailed Gayle's record.
