Rizvi Springfield (Bandra) seems to be making winning a habit this season. After clinching the Harris Shield two months ago, they were dominant throughout the Boost Cup.
Yesterday, the Bandra school downed Shardashram Vidyamandir (English) by an impressive 88-run margin in the final at Islam Gymkhana to lift the Boost Cup, an inter-school cricket tournament trophy promoted by Procam International.u00a0u00a0
Batting first, Rizvi put up a mammoth of 324 for 7 in the 45-over-per-side encounter. Syed Abdul Aziz (70) and Karan Vashodia(74) did the bulk of the scoring.
Thereafter, a fine bowling effort from Syed Abdul Aziz, Puneet Tripathi and Alpesh Ramjani, who took two wickets each, restricted Shardashram to 236 for 9.
