"The World Championship will be tough challenge and completely different from a Commonwealth Games or Asian Games as about 700 to 800 of the planet's best boxers will be fighting each other," said Vijender on the sidelines of an event to announce the World Gaming Festival to be held in Goa from 23-26 September.
However, for the Guangzhou Asian Games gold medallist the Worlds is the ideal preparation for next year's London Olympics.
"I'm training hard for the Worlds but my primary target is to qualify for the London Games. I'm fit and not carrying any injuries," he added.
