Indian Test captain Virat Kohli took to social networking website Twitter to thank all his Indian teammates for taking time out from their schedules to play the football celebrity clasico game.

He went on to mention cricketers MS Dhoni, Shikhar Dhawan, Harbhajan Singh, R Ashwin, KL Rahul, Umesh Yadav, Ajinkya Rahane Manoj Tiwary, Hardik Pandya and Ashoke Dinda.

Kohli's charitable organisation -- Virat Kohli Foundation -- which is working towards youth empowerment and support of children and Smile Foundation joined hands for this initiative.

Kohli hosted a charitable auction followed by a grand gala dinner which was attended by notable cricketers and Bollywood celebs.
