Deccan Chargers captain Kumar Sangakkara said that failure to click as a team has been the main reason for their lacklustre show in the Indian Premier League-V (IPL-V).
On the eve of their match against Kings XI Punjab, Sangakkara admitted that their below-par show had nothing to do with luck. “It’s not only about luck, if you do the right things, you need less luck than you would if you are not doing that well,” the former Sri Lanka skipper said.

Chargers, whose are placed at the bottom having managed to win just two games from their 13 matches till date, believed that luck only works if one works hard. “Luck is something, I think, the harder you work, the better you do... (then) luck works for you. Sometimes luck can be an excuse, but that”s not something we are looking at for what could have gone wrong for us,” said Sangakkara.u00a0
