Stand-in skipper Mahela Jayawardene did not sound too worried after yet another failure by Yuvraj Singh against Mumbai Indians yesterday.
"He needs to spend a little time in the middle. He is going through a tough time coming back from injury, but he is a class player and we have a lot of trust in him. He will come good sooner than later," said Jayawardene.
His yesterday's stint at the crease was restricted to just three balls, five minutes and two runs.
The Lankan refused to agree with the view that Kings XI is not a balanced side. "We have a good balance with some real good players. With the same team we did well in the first two editions of the IPL, but this year, it's just that we have been committing mistakes at crucial junctures," he added.
Slip-ups are sure hurting the Punjab side, but the biggest bruise seems to be Yuvraj's form.
