With just 10 minutes left for the first ball to be bowled, Arjun, who plays age-group cricket for Mumbai, ran as fast he could from Gate No 2 (Vinoo Mankad Gate) to the VIP enclosure.
On seeing the youngster sprinting, one of the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) officials at the gate advised him to go slow.

"Arjun hadu (go slow)" shouted the official. But the tenacious teenager, in his excitement to make it on time, did not heed to this advice and kept running.
Sorry Shibani, you will have to walk!
Shibani Dandekar, one of the presenters of IPL-7, had to walk the full stretch from Vinoo Mankad Gate as the car she was travelling in did not have the mandatory pass to enter the Wankhede premises. Having alighted at the gate, a visibly upset Dandekar made her way to the ground.
