With Zaheer Khan out due to injury, the team management is sweating over how their pace attack will measure up against the formidable Sri Lanka batting line-up in the three-Test series.
Pace worries
Ishant Sharma has not done anything in recent times to suggest that he is out of his form slump while you never know what to expect from the temperamental S Sreesanth. Zaheer's replacement Abhimanyu Mithun is talented but is a greenhorn.
"I was informed by the Board yesterday about training with the Indian team in Sri Lanka," Yadav told SUNDAY MiD DAY.
"It's the first time I will be playing with the full-strength senior team and I am looking forward to the opportunity of bowling to Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and the rest in the nets.
We have been told that we will be there to train for a week. It will be a great learning opportunity," said Yadav.Yadav was part of the young Indian team which played a triangular one-day tournament in Zimbabwe followed by two Twenty20 games against Zimbabwe.
