Bloomberg quoted Raza Haider as saying, "He said (he's had) some internal issues and some threats from unknown persons so he's a bit scared. Throughout the series he was saying, 'I'm in pressure, I'm in pressure.' "
The 24-year-old failed to report in Dubai for Pakistan's one-day international against South Africa and subsequently flew to London, saying he refused to take part in an alleged fixing plot.

Lorgat added: "Clearly this is in the first instance a team matter for Pakistan cricket but the ICC is willing to provide assistance to the PCB and the player. We understand his plight if reports are indeed true, but we can only help if he is willing to engage with us."
Life ban now?
Zaheer Abbas ridiculed the Pakistan Cricket Board who may impose a life ban on Zulqarnain Haider for leaving the team in Dubai. Samaa TV claimed that PCB planned to ban Haider for life.
"Why is he being banned without them seeking an explanation from Haider? Who would live such a life under threat?" fumed the former Pakistan captain.
