Neil Wagner donned New Zealand's test jersey for the first time in 2012 and played a key role for the side in most of the matches. He also contributed in New Zealand's World Test Championship triumph in 2022. In 2008, he moved from South Africa to New Zealand and quickly established himself in first-class cricket with Otago province

New Zealand's veteran speedster Neil Wagner announced his retirement from the game's traditional format at the age of 37. The pacer represented New Zealand in 64 tests and will finish as Kiwi's fifth-highest wicket-taker.
Wagner has 260 test wickets to his name. His best bowling figures are seven for 39 runs.
