But Mauricio Pochettino's injury-ravaged side failed to hit the heights of Wednesday's 3-1 Champions League win over Real Madrid and the Londoners were fortunate to claim all three points. Pochettino said: "It was a tough game for us after Wednesday. Palace were playing on the counter-attack. We had a few problems after the Madrid game and that's why I'm so happy with the victory."
