The extension of 45 days starts from Tuesday, according to a FIFA statement on Wednesday.
Valcke, who was ousted last September 17 for his alleged involvement in a money-making scheme to profit from the sale of tickets for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, was suspended on October 7, initially for 90 days. The period expired on Monday.
The start of the extension comes a day after the chairman of the adjudicatory chamber of the ethics committee recommended suspending the former secretary-general for nine years for violating the general rules of conduct of the organisation.
