Jose Mourinho coached side thrashed Israeli football club Maccabi Tel-Aviv 4-0 in the Champions League match on Wednesday, with the Spaniard scoring the third goal with a sublime volley.
Chelsea are struggling in the Premier League, currently in 17th place, having taken just four points from their opening five games, goal.com reported on Thursday.
Chelsea will search of just their second league win of the campaign on Saturday and Costa believes that the match is a timely opportunity.
"There's nothing better than a game against Arsenal to win and fix this situation. If we win then we'll take a step forward in terms of confidence and points; we know about the importance of the game," Costa said.
"We have to remain calm. We have enough quality to fix the situation," he said.
Chelsea did not make major changes to their squad in the summer transfer window and Costa said that the players know that they simply must improve in the coming weeks.
