The report said Manchester fans sparked more trouble on trains than any other top-flight club. Over the past two seasons, they were involved in 37 of the total incidents, reports Xinhua.
Their close neighbours, Manchester City, came second with its fans causing trouble on 30 occasions. Sunderland (28 incidents) took the third spot.
But the worst troublemakers were in the second-flight Championship League. Here, Leeds fans were the most violent, getting involved in 77 incidents over the two seasons.
The most serious cases led to injuries to four people and bodily harm to victims.
