Manchester United winger Memphis Depay couldn't ask for a better setting to propose to his girlfriend, Lori Harvey.

According to British tabloid, The Sun, Depay took Harvey to a beach in California and popped the question after going down on one knee.

She said yes and the couple embraced each other and immediately shared the news on their Instagram pages.

Depay uploaded a picture to his 3.5million followers with the caption: "She said yessss!!!" Harvey wrote: I'm so blessed, I get to marry my bestfriend. I SAID YES!!!!!!"

It is unclear when the couple began dating, but the first signs of their romance emerged when Depay posted a picture of them together in Paris, on Instagram, during the beginning of 2016.
