The leading goalscorers list of the Euro 2020 season has some usual suspects as well as some upcoming sensations

The Euro 2020 season came to a close with Italy defeating England in a dramatic penalty shootout following a draw at 120 mins at Wembley. Italy and England drew 1-1 with Bonucci and Shaw scoring for their respective teams. Italy would then go on to win the penalty shootout 3-2 to win their second Euro title.

The Euro 2020 tournament saw some new names cropping up the goalscoring chart while some usual suspects who have been there before. Portugal star striker and captain Cristiano Ronaldo was the join-goalscorer of the tournament along with Czech Republic's latest sensation Patrik Schick. Ronaldo also went on to become the all-time leading goalscorer at the Euros with 14 goals as well as won the Euro 2020 golden boot.
England's captain Harry Kane did not manage to find the net early on in the tournament but ended up becoming the leading goalscorer for the Euro 2020 finalists. Emil Forsberg, Sweden's top striker was also another new name on the list of top scorers at the Euros. France's Karim Benzema, who made his comeback after a long hiatus, had a memorable tournament, becoming the leading scorer for France.
