"Some people do not realise my achievements. I got asked on social media recently by someone, 'what have you done besides colouring your hair and painting your nails'.
I don't know whether the person was just seeking attention, but I've been a World No 6 in mixed doubles, a Commonwealth Games gold medal-winner besides a world championship bronze medalist. People don't realise this," Gutta told iDream Media in an interview at her home in Hyderabad recently.
The 32-year-old felt that her love for fashion unnecessarily attracts criticism. "I'm a girl and we girls like to put make up and dress up well. What's wrong with that?,"
she asked.
