Ace Aditya destroys Varun Madan 8-1 in one-sided final at NSCI
Highly fancied Aditya Mehta routed Varun Madan 8-1 in a totally lop-sided final, to lift the 1st RKG Open Pro Snooker Series title at the National Sports Club of India on Saturday. Delhi cueist Madan found no answer to the rampaging form of Mumbai-born Mehta, and went down tamely. India’s lone snooker professional Mehta, of Petroleum Sports Promotion Board started off with a half century break and then followed it up with a superb run of 116 in the second to exercise early dominance. After taking a 4-0 lead, Mehta dropped off a bit and allowed his rival to win the fifth frame.
