Anjali Anto emerged as the winner of the Red Bull Catch Up National finals, one of its kind amateur Go Kart tournament for women, here on Thursday. With this win, she also earned herself a ticket to Singapore to experience a Formula 1 Grand Prix firsthand. The significance of the tournament was enhanced by the the participation of Mira Erda, country's first female driver to compete in one of the highest classes of Formula Racing.
Talking about the National Finals of Red Bull Catch Up, Mira Erda said: "I am extremely elated to be associated with Red Bull who has always encouraged aspiring female motorsport enthusiasts through tournaments like Red Bull Kart Fight and Red Bull Catch Up. "Today will always be special for me as I shared the track with ambitious women racers from around the country, she added.
