Children's Academy High School, Malad, coached by Bombay Republicans' mentor Marzban 'Bawa' Patel, capped a fine hockey season by winning the State Championship beating Kolhapur 3-0 in the final at the Balewadi Stadium in Pune recently.

Avesh Shukla, Faizal and Dhotre were on target for the Malad school. Earlier in the season, Children's Academy won the MSSA inter-school championship, the Aga Khan title and the DSO West Zone Championship.
