Ashley Lobo stars for Alfresco

Ashley Lobo struck two goals to steer Alfresco Football Club to an emphatic 4-0 win over Charkopcha Raja in a third division match of the MDFA League at the St Xavier's ground, Parel.

Leading 1-0 at the end of the first session, Alfresco turned on the heat in the second and scored through Velson Fernandes and Ajay Verghese.

Earlier in another encounter of the same division, Veer Engineering SC blanked Mukund SC by a comfortable 3-0 margin. Sagar Sadadekar netted a brace, while Ranjoy Bhaskar scored the third.
