Despite suffering a disappointing 4-6, 5-7 defeat to Robin Haase (Ned) and David Martin (USA) in the Chennai Open, Rohan Bopanna and Aisam ul-Haq Qureshi will take positives with them to Sydney and onwards to the Australian Open in Melbourne later this month.

"Last year we didn't get any match practice before the Australian Open. This time we've had one victory here and hopefully we will get three to four victories in Sydney before the Australian Open. We definitely will have better preparation this time," said Qureshi.

The Bopanna-Qureshi Indo-Pak Express didn't fire on all cylinders. "Robin Haase returned very well, he was seeing the ball really well and his game was on fire," noted Bopanna.

The crowd was at its boisterous best often cheering the Indo-Pak combine in between points. "The crowd was great, cheering between points did not affect us. Tactically I think we played a better match than yesterday," stated Qureshi.

The Dutch-US pairing were delighted with the victory.u00a0 "It's fantastic to beat the No 2 seeds in the doubles draw," said an ecstatic Haase. Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi are the lone Indians left in the
event.
