Formula One bosses have decided to abolish the jobs of grid girls and have planned to replace them with grid kids, but British supermodel Naomi Campbell felt it is unfair to do so.
"I've been to so many races. I've never been put off by it. I've never found it offensive and I've walked on that grid many times. For me, they're representing their country. They're proud to be representing their country whatever way they can. It's been that way for years," Campbell, who is a regular visitor to F1 races, recently told Good Morning Britain.
Asked if the grid girls should get their jobs back, she replied: "Have they been fired? I didn't know that. That's not nice."
