Glasgow: Indian weightlifter Meena Kumari missed the bronze in the women's 58 kg category to finish fifth in the Commonwealth Games on Saturday.

England's Zoe Smith, who won the bronze four years ago in New Delhi, claimed the gold with a total lift of 210 kg. Nigeria's Ndidi Winifred took silver with 206 kg while Welsh Michaela Breeze won the bronze with a lift of 202 kg.

Meena could only manage 194 kg.
