Craig clocked 11.9 secs, with Samarth Bhogte (13.1s) of Our Lady of Salvation second and Pankaj Yadav (12.4s) of Navy Children (Colaba) third. Interestingly, had it not been for a health concern, the 15-year-old would have been a footballer instead.
"I used to play football earlier, but kept falling ill due to dust allergy and began suffering from asthma. So my parents advised me quit football and focus on running only, as there's no dust issue on the synthetic track," said the Class X student, adding that the win is even more special because it came about at the very track he trains on daily.
