World number one Novak Djokovic insisted on Thursday that seeing his hopes of Grand Slam history shattered at the French Open has only sharpened his appetite for more success at Wimbledon.
The Serb had been hoping to become just the third man to hold all four Grand Slam titles at once by winning at Roland Garros, but he went down to defeat in a rain-hit final to Rafael Nadal.

Now Djokovic has targetted a successful defence of the Wimbledon crown he won for the first time last year.
“It’s my life, I’m in loveu00a0with this sport and have dedicated everything to tennis,” he said.u00a0“I won Wimbledon last year and became number one in the world, something I always dreamed of achieving.
“I can’t complain about my results and I’ve had a fantastic career, but I still feel that there are plenty of years to come. I have lots of motivation left and every day when I wake up I want to improve and win more tournaments.”
