Johannesburg: World number three Roger Federer produced a perfect blend of power and precision to advance to the third round of the Paris Masters with a straight-sets win over Italian Andreas Seppi.

The Swiss maestro claimed a 6-1, 6-1 win over Seppi in a lopsided second round contest that lasted just 47 minutes, Sport24 reported.
Federer will next face American John Isner for a place in the quarter-finals.
