>> Schumacher won his first club championship at age 6.
>> His father a brick layer, took another job of repairing carts, while his mom worked at the track canteen to support his dream for racing.
>> Schumacher is a record seven-time Formula One champion (1994, 1995, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004). He also holds the records for most Grand Prix victories, fastest laps and pole positions in F1 history.
>> Schumi's other sporting hobbies include football, tennis, skiing, swimming.
>> He loves watching movies. His favourite film is 'Silence of the Lambs'.
>> In 2003, Schumacher's mother passed away during the week of the San Marino Grand Prix. After attending her funeral on Saturday, he and his brother still took part in the race the next day. Michael went on to win the race and dedicate it to his mom.

>> In 2013, Schumacher suffered a serious head injury while skiing in the French Alps. After recovering from a coma, Michael was moved to his residence in Lake Geneva where he is undergoing rehabilitation.

>> During the 2002 Australian GP, Schumacher's teammate Rubens Barrichello was set for a dominating race win. However, due to team orders from Ferrari he had to withdraw his position to give Schumacher the win to improve his championship points. This was the most controversial F1 win and was met with much hate from fans and the FIA.
