From sportspersons to Bollywood celebs to politicians, everyone took to Twitter to hail PV Sindhu's historic entry into the Olympic badminton final that assures India of its 2nd medal at Rio Olympics
Girl Power! Twitterati salute PV Sindhu for her historic Olympic win
Badminton ace PV Sindhu thumped Japan's Nozomi Okuhara to enter the final of the women's badminton singles event, assuring India of at least a silver medal at the Rio Olympic Games 2016 on Thursday.

The immensely talented Hyderabadi girl has thus done a notch better than her illustrious senior Saina Nehwal, who got the country's its first medal from badminton -- a bronze in London 2012.
Sindhu had a 1-3 head-to-head record against Okuhara but all that went for a toss as the Indian came out with a well-thought strategy as she engaged the Japanese in long-rallies with her angled returns and deft drops.
Her 21-19, 21-10 straight sets defeat of her Japanese counterpart set Twitter ablaze.

Twitterati showered the 21-year-old girl with praise and hoped she returned home with the gold.
From politicians like Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Bollywood celebs like Amitabh Bachchan to sports stars like Abhinav Bindra everyone wished her on Twitter.
Twitterati hail her achievement:
