Czech tennis star Petra Kvitova described her singing skills as terrible yesterday while shooting a promotional video, that included singing happy birthday and recording a spoof segment on the upcoming Solar eclipse for the Connecticut Open.
The tournament at New Haven, Connecticut is celebrating its 20th year. “My acting is equally bad,” Kvitova told the portal, SportzEdge.
However, Kvitova, 27, who survived a knife attack at her home last December, has no doubts that her level of tennis is much better than her singing and acting abilities put together.
The three-time Connecticut Open champion added that she's in love with the people, who support her in the American state. “The feeling and energy I receive from the fans here in Connecticut is something really special for me. I've won this tournament three times already and I just feel great here. It's like my second home,” she said.
