Ralf Schumacher has been absent from the Formula One circus for two years now. But he is keen on making a comeback to the sport, like big brother Michael. With over a decade of experience in F1, the German has missed a seat for the 2010 season by a fraction. Remembered for his six wins, in a span of three years with Williams, and consistent performances throughout his career, his racing genes are active in the DTM series today. F1PULSE.com caught up with 'little brother' Ralf, for his views on Michael, his chances of a return to the sport and his perspective on motorsports.
Excerpts.
What do you think about Michael Schumacher's comeback to Formula One? Did you expect his return at the age of 41 and after having achieved so much?
I fully understand his decision to accept the Mercedes GP offer. I would not have hesitated myself. I am absolutely sure that Michael is much fitter than most of the other Formula One drivers. And besides that, his tremendous experience makes him a very tough opponent on the track.

What has been Michael's motivation behind his comeback? Do you think he will become a champion again?
The timing is perfect. The combination of Ross Brawn and Mercedes-Benz is so convincing that he has to try it once again. Mercedes was also the key to his F1 career and with his Silver Arrows comeback, he can give back something.
Who is your favourite for the F1 title in 2010?
Michael for sure.
How keen are you to make a comeback to F1?
As I have said before, I would seriously consider that opportunity if there is an interesting offer in a competitive Formula One car. But nevertheless, I feel very comfortable in DTM with Mercedes-Benz.
Are you in talks with any teams?
To be honest, in 2009, I had an offer but the sportive condition as well as the prospect of success did not come along with my ideas about that issue.
