IOC members to attend IOA's EGM

The International Olympic Committee has confirmed that two of its members will be in attendance at the IOA's Extraordinary General Meeting, to be held on August 25.

IOC Director General, Christophe De Kepper, in a letter sent yesterday said that IOC Honorary Member Francisco J Elizalde and the head of Institutional Relations at IOC’s NOC Relations Department Jerome Poivey will be in the Capital.

De Kepper added that the international body had no issues with the IOA holding its Elective General Meeting on September 29.
