The visitors lost 0-19 to Chinese Taipei in the final on Monday.
Skipper Naseer Hussain led from the front to register a morale-boosting win over Brunei 19-0 on Monday before their all-important final clash against formidable Chinese Taipei.
India left Brunei totally clueless with their excellent passing and ground work and Rohaan Sethna, Nasser Hussain and Dhananjay Prasad scored to raise for the team.
However, in the bowl final, it was an one-sided affair as the visitors failed to match the fast pace game displayed by Chinese Taipei.
On Sunday, India had lost their opening encounter against aggressive China 0-45 and later to Chinese Taipei 0-24.
The women team, playing in their second international tournament, also had a similar script. They showed immense maturity and depth in their game to defeat higher ranked opponent Malaysia 10-5 on the last day of the super series event but failed to maintain their rhythm in their last encounter and lost 0-43 to Thailand.
