Indian driver Karun Chandhok and his JRM Racing finished seventh overall in the 6 Hours of Silverstone and came fourth in the privateer class in the fourth round of the 2012 FIA World Endurance Championship on Sunday

Race starter Peter Dumbreck, who lost crucial time and several places after a spin on the very first corner, did his best to put the team back in the contention. After 90 minutes into racing, Dumbreck was running seventh. Thereafter, Chandhok steered the team ahead.u00a0


The Indian, after three hours of racing moved up the order, first picking off Strakka Racing’s Nick Leventis and then overtaking Rebellion for fifth by the midpoint of the race.
